Dino Demopoulos - Principal and Founder
Chroma Strategies founder Dino Demopoulos has spent over twenty years in executive strategy and leadership roles in media and creative agencies, most recently as Chief Strategy Officer at GUT Toronto.
His career has been marked by a track record of strategic and creative excellence, stewarding many of the world’s most iconic brands, including McDonald’s, Adidas, General Motors and Tim Hortons.
He is known for his creative and strategic leadership and ability to pioneer new strategy and agency processes that build effective brands.
His work has contributed to multiple Agency of the Year and Digital Agency of the Year accolades at the prestigious Strategy Awards in Canada.
Globally, Dino has been recognized at the prestigious Cannes Festival for work on brands such as Tropicana, Tim Hortons and Cheerios.
Closer to home, Dino was the strategic architect behind the ground-breaking TimBiebs campaign for Tim Hortons, earning the Grand Effie award for creative effectiveness, helping to usher the modernization of the Tim Hortons brand in Canada.
Beyond his accomplishments at Canada’s top creative agencies, Dino has also co-developed the brand strategy and strategic plan for Canada’s National mental health body, The Canadian Mental Health Association. Under Dino’s co-direction, the CMHA has rallied behind a visionary and ambitious goal of making mental health a fundamental human right in Canada.
Dino is also a published strategy author, and is passionate about mentoring and teaching the next generation of strategists, something he has done at Miami Ad School and Seneca College.
Dino’s side gigs as a professional DJ, music producer and photographer help to keep his creative instincts sharp, and gives him a unique edge in helping him understand what makes people tick, and a unique vantage point from which to help build more interesting brands.
